Join us on 21st October at 6pm for a joint event in association with the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA).

We will look at the historical development of key international environmental conventions, considering important bodies and agencies that support this body of law, as well as principles and how these laws are implemented and enforced. With two critical conferences of parties (COPs) happening this year on climate change (COP26 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) and biodiversity (COP15 of the Convention on Biological Diversity), we will also spend some time focussing on these conventions, highlighting why they are so crucial.

Young ELF and Young UKELA The Basics events are aimed at those in the early stages of their career, but all are welcome. After the webinar has concluded, there will be an opportunity for informal networking.
