Environmental Justice and the Biodiversity Crisis Symposium

Reports highlight that the UK is in the midst of a biodiversity crisis with increasing numbers of species facing threats from a variety of sources. Come along to this all-day event to hear more about the issues and explore responses to help protect and enhance biodiversity, including Biodiversity Net Gain, and the emerging Rights of Nature movement.
The day will feature presentations in the morning from Professor Kevin Gaston (Exeter University), Tom Brenan (Environmental Law Foundation) and David Sumner (Larcomes Legal Limited), followed by workshop co-ordinated by Friends of the River Exe in the afternoon.
