By clairefowler

ELF’s first webinar took place on the 17th June with the kind administration of FTB, many thanks to them. 80 people attended to hear our four speakers. Kirsty Schneeberger OBE and ELF Trustee recapped the Paris Agreement, reminding us of the role of civic society recognised for the first time in the Paris Agreement. Ned Westaway, barrister at FTB discussed recent and interesting climate change cases and Gethin Thomas barrister at 39 Essex on the Heathrow third run way decision. Finally Ruth Mayne, an ELF community member on the need for Neighbourhood Planning to step up to meet the challenges of climate change planning. Thank you to all our speakers and to our chair David Hart QC. Please see here to watch again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85uUkQ9R5RE&feature=youtu.be
